Billy Leet has an extensive work experience in various fields. Billy started their career as a Teacher/Counselor at Pressley Ridge in 2011. In 2012, they worked as a Bilingual Leasing Analyst at Jones Lang LaSalle. From 2015 to 2018, they held multiple roles including Accent Coach at Billy Leet, Content Editor at Realm Inc, and Speech-Language Pathology Intern at Word Works Speech-Language Pathologists Inc. In 2016, they worked at Google as a Copyright Associate where they analyzed legal requests and investigated copyright infringement on YouTube. Billy also provided translation and analysis services for French-language videos and legal requests. Additionally, they identified and investigated bugs affecting internal tools. From 2018 to 2021, they worked as a UX Researcher at Instagram, where they conducted user research to improve the user experience. Billy Leet has a strong educational background in linguistics and French. In 2006, they began their studies at Youngstown State University, specializing in French Language and Literature. After two years, they transferred to the University of Pittsburgh, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Linguistics and French from 2007 to 2010. In 2010, Billy attended Université Rennes 2, focusing on French Language and Literature and obtaining a DALF certification. Continuing their academic journey, Billy enrolled at McGill University in 2013 and completed their Master of Science degree in Applied Communication Sciences and Disorders in 2015.
