Jacqueline Church has a diverse work experience in the field of assessment and education. Jacqueline is currently working as a Senior Assessment Developer at Duolingo, starting in September 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Western Governors University as a Senior Assessment Developer, Prototyping from June 2020 to September 2022.

Before joining Western Governors University, Jacqueline worked as an Assistant Director of Assessment at Northern Arizona University from July 2015 to May 2020. Jacqueline also gained experience as a Measurement Scientist at the Arizona Department of Education from November 2014 to June 2015.

In addition, Jacqueline worked as an Assessment Officer at the Institute of International Education from October 2013 to October 2014. Before that, they held the position of Test Developer, Technical Lead at Second Language Testing Inc. from July 2012 to October 2013, where they were responsible for various tasks related to test development, research, and management.

Jacqueline's early work experience includes roles at Northern Arizona University, where they served as an Assessment Coordinator from May 2011 to July 2012. Jacqueline also worked as an English as a Second Language teacher, teaching intermediate listening and speaking classes and designing course syllabi and lesson plans from January 2010 to May 2011. Additionally, they worked as a Research Assistant on a linguistics project sponsored by TOEFL from August 2009 to January 2010. Jacqueline started their career as an English Enhancement Instructor, teaching visiting Chinese scholars about American customs and traditions and creating curriculum and syllabi, from August 2009 to December 2009.

Jacqueline Church obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Brigham Young University, where they studied from 2001 to 2005. Later on, they pursued a Master of Arts degree in Teaching English as a Second Language and Applied Linguistics from Northern Arizona University, completing their studies between 2009 and 2011.
