Jennifer Dewar

Jennifer Dewar has a diverse work experience background. Jennifer started their career in 2001 as an Assistant Director of Admissions at Connecticut College. After working there for two years, they joined Duke University Office of Undergraduate Admissions as an Associate Director and stayed there for thirteen years until 2016. In 2016, they joined Washington University in St. Louis as the Senior Associate Director of Undergraduate Admissions. During their time at Washington University, they held a key role in the admissions department until 2018. In 2018, they left Washington University and joined Duolingo, where they held two senior positions as the Senior Director and then as the Director of Strategic Engagement for the Duolingo English Test.

Jennifer Dewar earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science and Government from Dickinson College, which they attended from 1997 to 2001. Later, they pursued further education at Duke University, where they obtained a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Liberal Studies from 2006 to 2011.
