Jordan Zink

Jordan Zink has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. In 2012, they started as a Web Development Intern at MyCityWay, where they led a project to develop an HTML 5 version of a native iOS app. In 2013, they worked as an Application Development Intern at JPMorgan Chase. In 2014, they were a Software Engineering Intern at Palantir Technologies, where they worked on backend development and integrating an external web API into the search system. Starting in 2015, Jordan became a Senior Software Engineer at Applied Predictive Technologies, where they developed infrastructure systems on the Architecture team. Their responsibilities included login and authentication, exception reporting, job queue system, user management, and internationalization. They also gained some exposure to deployment technologies. In 2018, Jordan joined Two Sigma as a Software Engineer, working on the Foundational Data Engineering team. They were responsible for critical data loading pipelines, ingesting foundational financial data into the company for use by trading models and back-office operations. Finally, in 2022, Jordan joined Duolingo as a Senior Software Engineer.

Jordan Zink earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University from 2011 to 2015.
