Kathryn Kania

Kathryn Kania has worked as a Software Engineer at Duolingo since 2020. Prior to that, they had a Software Developer Internship at SentryOne in 2019, where they worked on a customer-facing web application using React, C#, and MySQL. Kathryn also has experience as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at the UNC Department of Computer Science in 2019. Before pursuing their career in software, Kathryn worked as a Food Server at The Yogurt Pump in 2017 and as a Positional Leader at a Chick-fil-A Franchise from 2015 to 2016. Additionally, they served as an Editor and Teaching Assistant at Asheville Latin Seminars from 2015 to 2016.

Kathryn Kania pursued their education at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 2016 to 2020. During this period, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Computer Science.
