Martin Reader

Martin Reader has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. In 2011, they started working as a Sales Associate at Aeropostale and later became a Sales Lead. From 2014 to 2016, they worked as a Sales Associate - Brand Ambassador at Gap Inc./ Banana Republic. In 2015, they served as an Office Intern at Sentieri Italiani. From 2016 to 2017, they worked as an Assistant English Teacher at Liceo Scientifico Belfiore di Mantova. Martin then transitioned to being an English Teacher at Wall Street English from 2018 to 2021. Martin recently held contract roles at Duolingo, where they were a Senior Quality Control Specialist and then became a Team Lead.

From 2017 to 2020, they attended Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna, where they obtained a Master's degree in Language, Society, and Communication with a focus on French and Spanish.

Between 2012 and 2016, Martin studied at DePaul University and earned a Bachelor's degree in French, Spanish, and Italian Studies.

In 2014, they participated in French Studies programs at both IES Abroad and Institut catholique de Paris.

Their earlier education took place at Schaumburg High School from 2008 to 2012, where they completed their General Studies.
