Ogochukwu Nwodoh has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. In 2014, they worked at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute as a CURE Program Trainee, gaining research and networking experience in scientific fields. They also worked as a Tutor for America Reads, America Counts, focusing on teaching mathematics to middle school girls with low test scores.
In 2015, Ogochukwu worked as a Summer Group Leader at College Bound Dorchester, where they taught and mentored underprivileged children in history, English, and science. They also worked as a Tutor for the Science and Technology Entry Program, helping students in grades 7 to 12 understand science and mathematics topics.
In 2016, Ogochukwu worked as a Technology Summer Analyst at Goldman Sachs, gaining experience in technology. They then became a Course Assistant at Columbia University in the City of New York, supporting students in their coursework from 2016 to 2018.
In 2017, Ogochukwu interned as a Software Engineering Intern at Facebook. They later joined Facebook as a Software Engineer in 2018, where they worked until 2023.
In 2020, Ogochukwu founded The Black Fashion Finder, showcasing their entrepreneurship skills. Finally, in 2023, they joined Duolingo as a Software Engineer.
Ogochukwu Nwodoh earned a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Barnard College between the years 2014 and 2018.
