Timothy Kirdy

Timothy Kirdy has a diverse work experience. Timothy began their career as a Research Programmer at Carnegie Mellon University in 2005 and continued to work in this role until 2007. Timothy also served as a Teaching Assistant during this time, specifically for the course "15-212: Principles of Programming." In 2008, Timothy joined Wolfram Research as a Software Engineer and stayed until 2011. Timothy then worked at Fanny Edith Falk Laboratory School, starting as an Intern for Middle School Math Instruction in 2012 and eventually becoming a Middle School Math Teacher from 2013 to 2017. Timothy's most recent position is at Duolingo, where they are currently employed as a Software Engineer, starting in 2017.

Timothy Kirdy attended Carnegie Mellon University from 2004 to 2008, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. Following their undergraduate education, they enrolled at the University of Pittsburgh from 2011 to 2013, obtaining a Master of Arts degree in Secondary Education and Teaching.
