Yudi Sun

Yudi Sun is a seasoned product design leader currently serving as the Director of Product Design for Duolingo's Growth organization since October 2024, focusing on enhancing user engagement through game-like experiences. Previously, Yudi held the position of Head of Design for Operating Systems at Cash App from January 2020 to January 2024, overseeing a significant app-wide redesign and managing a large design team. Prior roles at Cash App included Senior Product Design Manager, where Yudi led design teams for key app features, and Product Design Manager, during which the design organization was expanded rapidly. Before Cash App, Yudi worked at Lyft as a Product Designer, directing COVID response designs and product launches, and started as an illustrator at A³ by Airbus. Yudi holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of California, Berkeley, and further education from ArtCenter College of Design.
