Marco Crevilaro

Marco Crevilaro has extensive work experience in the fields of health, safety, and project management. Marco has held various roles in different companies over the years.

From 2000 to 2004, Marco worked at Alstom Power, where they were an Engineer and later a Research Engineer. During this time, they were responsible for developing hydraulic and mechanic studies, coordinating technical meetings, and proposing technical solutions for small hydro power plants.

In 2004, Marco joined Comgas as an Asset Engineer. Marco later became a Project Engineer, coordinating the construction of a natural gas steel pipeline. Marco also served as a Connection Coordinator, managing a team and overseeing the delivery of new connections. Marco was later promoted to Project Coordinator, where they successfully improved project performance and developed new business models.

In 2011, Marco became the HSE Manager at Comgas, responsible for developing safety policies and strategies and improving safety culture. Marco achieved notable results, including reducing project delays and engaging the workforce in safety initiatives.

In 2017, Marco joined ContourGlobal as the Health and Safety Manager LATAM. Marco supported operations directors in Latin America, implementing safety management systems and conducting internal audits. Marco also coordinated due diligence processes for potential acquisitions.

Most recently, Marco worked at Ultragaz as the HSE Corporate Manager. Marco managed a team and safety technicians across multiple sites. Marco was responsible for defining HSE objectives, developing strategic plans, and improving safety culture. Marco achieved significant reductions in lost-time injury rate accidents, implemented risk assessment protocols, and deployed strategies for reducing water consumption and waste disposal.

Currently, Marco holds the position of Senior Project Manager at dss.

Marco Crevilaro has a diverse education history that spans several years and includes various degrees and certifications. Marco obtained their Engineer degree in Mechanics from FEI between 1995 and 1999. In 2000-2001, they pursued a Master's degree in Energy and Process at Grenoble INP - UGA. Continuing their academic journey, Marco completed an MBA in Energy from USP - Universidade de São Paulo from 2006 to 2008. In 2012, they pursued a Change Management degree at Instituto EcoSocial, focusing on Project Management. More recently, they obtained a postgraduate degree in Occupational Safety from Escola Politécnica da USP from 2016 to 2018, with a specialization in Health and Safety. Additionally, Marco holds several certifications, including "Certificado em Segurança Comportamental" from Comportamento Psicologia do Trabalho, which they obtained in December 2021, and "Lider agente da mudança" from Agentes da Mudança, obtained in August 2008.
