Mary Ellen Glasgow

Mary Ellen Glasgow has held significant academic leadership roles, notably serving as Dean and Professor at Duquesne University's School of Nursing from August 2012 to December 2023. In this position, Glasgow was the chief academic and administrative officer, responsible for ensuring the integrity of educational programs and promoting excellence in teaching and research. Prior to this, Glasgow was the Vice Provost for Research at Duquesne University, guiding strategic initiatives for all research activities. Earlier experience includes serving as the Associate Dean for Nursing and Chair of Undergraduate Nursing Programs at Drexel University's College of Nursing and Health Professions, overseeing multiple nursing and health professions departments. Glasgow holds a PhD in Nursing Science from Duquesne University and an MSN from Villanova University.
