EVP & Chief Technology Officer at DURA

Sanjay Singh, EVP and Chief Technology Officer, is responsible for DURA’s overall innovation and global technology agenda. Sanjay’s responsibilities include shaping DURA’s technology strategy, as the company continues its path of growth and leadership in the areas of lightweight structures, smart exterior trim systems, mechatronics, human-machine-interfaces and advanced mobility solutions.

Sanjay has more than 25 years of experience as a leader in the automotive industry. He began his career at General Motors in 1991 as a project engineer in structural design of driveline, steering systems and advanced R&D, followed by design/release/integration of vehicle systems. After working for GM for 10 years, Sanjay joined TRW engineering leadership, where he developed chassis systems and launched the first 12-volt belt drive electric power steering (EPS) for mid-size cars and SUVs in North America. From 2013-2016, Sanjay held the position of Global Executive Director of Engineering at Nexteer Automotive followed by Executive Technical Advisor and Chief Technology Officer at Cresttek-JSP Corporation, leading development in the areas of chassis and powertrain

controls, active safety, autonomous mobility, vehicle dynamics, vehicle connectivity to smart cities, and virtual testing for advanced driver assist systems (ADAS).

Sanjay holds a Master of Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington, as well as a Bachelor of Science in engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Warangal, India.
