Koen Porré

Koen Porré has a strong background in finance and management, with experience in various roles and industries. Koen most recently served as the CFO at Durabilis since May 2018. Prior to that, they worked as a Finance Director for a company active in industrial equipment from November 2017 to January 2018.

From September 2011 to September 2017, Koen worked as the Finance Director Europe at Tekni-Plex, Inc., the European headquarters of a US-based enterprise. In this role, they oversaw finance management for Europe, including optimization of processes, internal controls, acquisition and integration of a company in Italy, and implementation of treasury management.

Before that, Koen was the Finance Manager at 2B Delighted (Wever & Ducré) from September 2008 to June 2011. Koen managed finance, IT, and legal aspects for the lighting products company, including set-up of finance management, acquisition and integration of companies, and implementation of an ERP package.

Koen also gained experience as the Finance Manager at Spector Photo Group from April 2000 to August 2008. Koen was responsible for accounting, controlling, financial consolidation, and treasury for the group. Koen also played a role in the reorganization of the finance function, simplification of the group structure, and administrative support for international e-commerce.

Earlier in their career, Koen worked as a Senior Internal Auditor at VF Corporation from October 1997 to March 2000 and as an Auditor at PwC from September 1994 to September 1997.

Koen Porré completed their undergraduate studies in Applied Economic Sciences at KU Leuven from 1989 to 1993. Koen then pursued a specialization program in Accountancy and Auditing at Vlerick Business School in 1993-1994. Koen also obtained a Certified Internal Auditor certification from The Institute of Internal Auditors in 1998. Later, in 2006, they completed the Master Class Corporate Finance program at Vlerick Business School.
