John K. Hill

John K. Hill is a Partner of Durable and Head of Business Development. John joined the firm at its inception in 2019. He possesses 15 years of senior-level business development experience in the alternative asset industry. Prior to joining Durable, John was a partner and head of marketing at Ivory Capital, a multi-billion dollar AUM long/short equity manager. He also served as a Partner at Red Mountain Capital, a constructive activist manager. Prior to joining Ivory, John was a Regional Director at Gerson Lehrman Group, and was previously an Investment Associate at GFI Energy Ventures, an energy sector private equity firm. John began his career as an Associate at Montgomery Securities from 1995 to 1998.

John graduated from Harvard College with a Bachelor’s in Government and an MBA from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business.
