Matthew Markovics

Chief Financial Officer at Durable Capital Partners

Matthew Markovics joined Durable as the Chief Financial Officer in 2019. He chairs Durable’s Operations and Valuation Committees. Prior to joining Durable, Matthew spent seven years at Viking Global Investors, LP where he was the Controller of the hybrid fund since its inception, managing its launch and growth. From 2008 to 2012, Matthew served as the Controller of Andreeff Equity Advisors, LLC where he was responsible for accounting matters relating to all Maple Leaf entities. From 2006 to 2008, Matthew was the Controller of Springbok Capital Management, LLC and was responsible for accounting and operations. Matthew began his career with PricewaterhouseCoopers where he provided audit and tax services.

Matthew earned a Bachelor’s in Accounting from the University of Michigan and a Master of Accounting from the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan. Matthew is a CPA
