Kelly Ritter is an experienced professional with a diverse background in education, the arts, and event coordination. As the owner of Peaks Pie since June 2022, Kelly specializes in creating artisanal pies utilizing seasonal, local ingredients. In addition, Kelly has served as a certified substitute teacher for Durango School District 9-R since January 2011, supporting classroom teachers and maintaining effective communication with families. Previous volunteer roles at Mesa Verde National Park and Friends of the Hopi Foundation highlight a dedication to educational programs and community service. Kelly’s experience as a Museum Coordinator and Education Specialist at E3 Children's Museum & Science Center involved designing and implementing educational programs across various disciplines. Past positions at the Portland Art Museum included coordinating school and outreach programs and developing arts curriculum. Kelly holds a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction focused on Early Childhood Education from Arizona State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Art History from Portland State University.
