Amardeep Shitole

Amardeep Shitole has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Amardeep is currently working as a Lead System Engineer (ESS, Power & Control) at Durapower Holdings Pte Ltd since July 2023. Prior to this, they worked at VFlowTech as a Senior Electrical Engineer (Power & Control) from April 2022 to June 2023. During their tenure at VFlowTech, they were involved in projects like the VRB ESS Microgrid Project and the VRB & LiB Hybrid ESS Microgrid Project, where they served as the team lead for power and control tasks, conducted research and development, and performed testing activities.

Before that, Amardeep worked as a Research Fellow at Singapore University of Technology and Design from January 2021 to April 2022. Amardeep'sresponsibilities included MATLAB modeling and real-time simulation of grid-tied photovoltaic and Li-ion battery energy storage systems, development of cyber-security test beds, and cloud-based monitoring and control of Li-ion battery energy management systems.

Amardeep also has experience as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Masdar Institute, Khalifa University, where they worked on test-bed development for battery charge controller validation. Additionally, they served as an Assistant Professor at Bajaj Institute of Technology Wardha and Trinity College of Engineering and Research, Pune, teaching courses and supervising graduate students' research projects.

Amardeep started their career as a Project Engineer - Trainee at Smart Solutions Pvt. Ltd., where they gained experience in developing auto-mains failure and automatic power factor correction panels, designing control panel single line diagrams, and managing bill of materials.

Amardeep Shitole's education history begins in 2004 when they enrolled at Government College of Engineering Karad to pursue a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering, which they completed in 2008. Following their undergraduate studies, they attended COEP Technological University from 2010 to 2012, where they obtained a Master of Technology degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Power System. Finally, from 2013 to 2018, Amardeep Shitole pursued a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology.
