Adrian Tucker

Adrian Tucker is an experienced educational professional currently serving as an Instructional Assistant and Volunteer Coach at Durham Public Schools since January 2020. In addition to this role, Adrian is a Summer Teacher and Volunteer Tutor at Student U and the Founder/Chief Member of Operation: Save The M.U.S.I.C. Since January 2021, Adrian has also contributed as a volunteer at Families Moving Forward NC and previously volunteered as a Brass Instructor at Kidznotes. From October 2011 to June 2019, Adrian held multiple positions including Volunteer Band Instructor and coach for Track & Cross Country at Research Triangle Charter Academy, as well as Special Education Paraprofessional and Interventionist at National Heritage Academies. Adrian is pursuing a degree in Exercise Sports Science at North Carolina Central University, which is expected to be completed in 2023, with a focus on Physical Therapy and Secondary Education.
