Carla Joyner

Carla Joyner, EdD, serves as an Independent Real Estate Professional at eXp Realty, LLC since April 2024 and has been a Math Instructional Coach at Durham Public Schools since September 2012, facilitating professional development for over 80 teachers and supporting beginning teachers and professional learning communities. With over 21 years of experience as a high school math educator in the North Carolina School System, Carla has also taken on roles such as Instructional Facilitator, Testing Coordinator, Lead Teacher at Southern School of Energy and Sustainability, and Coordinator at an Alternative Learning Center within Wake County Public Schools. Carla holds a BS in Secondary Education from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and both an MS in Educational Leadership and a Doctor of Education (EdD) in Curriculum and Instruction from Capella University.
