Rio Djiwandana serves as a Math Instructional Coach at Teaching Lab, delivering targeted coaching to Algebra 1 teachers in the NYC Transfer School District. As Co-Founder and Digital Strategist for Hi Five Combat Creative, Rio oversees social media and e-commerce operations for a combat sports brand. At Nongki NYC, Rio contributes as a Co-Founder and Community Organizer, focusing on social media strategy and event planning for the Indonesian community in New York. Previous experience includes roles as a Tutor at Ivy Tutors Network, Dean of Special Services at Achievement First, Course Developer at 2U, Special Education Coordinator and Teacher at Uncommon Schools, Math Instructional Coach at Breakthrough New York, and Corps Member with Teach For America. Educational achievements include a Bachelor of Science in International Economics from Georgetown University and a Master of Arts in Special Education from Relay Graduate School of Education, along with ongoing studies at Corvinus University of Budapest.
