Ebony Ross, CSSW, MSW, BSW, has extensive experience in social work within educational and community settings. Currently serving as the McKinney-Vento Coordinator at Durham Public Schools since October 2016, Ebony facilitates communication between homeless families and various stakeholders to ensure access to education for homeless children. Previously, Ebony worked as a School Social Worker, empowering students and families to maximize their potential. Experience also includes roles as a Parent Educator and MSW Intern with various organizations, where responsibilities ranged from supporting family development to assisting in individualized education planning. Early career positions included serving as a Child Care Licensing Specialist and providing crisis support at Sister Care.
