Joshua Brown

Joshua Brown is an accomplished educational leader with extensive experience in various roles within public and private school systems. Currently serving as Principal at Durham Public Schools since January 2025, Joshua previously held the position of School Principal at Alamance-Burlington School System from November 2019 to April 2025. Joshua's career also includes roles as Assistant Principal at both the Alamance-Burlington School System and Wake County Public School System, as well as a teaching position at Durham Public Schools. Additionally, Joshua has a strong background in athletics, having served as Head Coach and Assistant Coach for varsity basketball at Carolina Friends School. Joshua's educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication from Emory & Henry University and a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership from Gardner-Webb University.
