Maggie McDowell

Maggie McDowell is an experienced educational professional with a diverse background in teaching and curriculum development. Currently serving as a Teaching & Learning Coach at Durham Public Schools since August 2022, Maggie previously held the position of ESL Teacher at the same institution from August 2018 to June 2021. Additional experience includes roles as Director of Training & Curriculum at Growga, Elementary Educator at Manor ISD, and Special Projects Manager at Montessori For All, Inc. Maggie’s career in education began as an Elementary Educator at Memphis-Shelby County Schools and as a Corps Member with Teach For America. Maggie holds a Bachelor's Degree in International/Global Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education from The University of Texas at Austin.
