Keisha Moore is an experienced educator and reservationist with over 25 years of teaching experience across various institutions. Currently serving as a Reservationist at Durham Region Transit since February 2017 and a Teacher at Durham District School Board since September 2016, Keisha's responsibilities include planning and implementing lessons tailored to student needs. Previous roles include teaching at The Apple Tree Preschool, where Keisha promoted the physical, mental, and social development of school-aged children, and providing caregiver support for young children, including those with special needs. Keisha's teaching career began in Jamaica with the Ministry of Education, where significant progress was made in improving the mathematical aptitude of slow learners. Keisha holds a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from St. Francis Xavier University, a Bachelor of Education from Northern Caribbean University, and a Diploma in Teacher Education from the College of Agriculture, Science and Education.
