Krissy Heishman has a diverse and extensive work experience. Krissy began their career in 2005 as an Assistant Camera/Assistant Editor for the Cheaters Reality TV Show. In 2012, they became the Director of E-Commerce for Discount Online Fitness & Fit Supply, LLC, where they were responsible for concept, development, integration, and development of multiple online Magento-based E-commerce stores and graphics design and marketing. In 2014, Krissy began working as an Engineering Assistant in the Product Research & Development Lab at The University of Texas at Arlington - TMAC, where they interfaced with clients to assist in driving the product creation process from an initial concept or POC through manufacturing process to product launch, and also lead electro-mechanical engineer on several projects and tests. In 2015, they held internships at Vinli Inc. and PolyPrinter 3D Printers, where they were a Wiring Technician and a Software Development & Product R&D Intern, respectively. In 2017, Krissy became an Entertainer in the Science & Technology Category for Twitch. In 2019, they became the Lead Engineer, Product Development for Driveline Baseball Enterprises, Inc. Finally, in 2021, Krissy was a Software Engineer for NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration, and in 2022 they became a Senior R&D Software Engineer for DUST Identity.
Krissy Heishman obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) from The University of Texas at Arlington in 2017, focusing on Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering. Prior to this, they attended Tarrant County College from 2012-2013 in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering. Krissy has also obtained certifications from LinkedIn, CITI Program, National Weather Service, and the Federal Communications Commission. These certifications include Tech Career Skills: Moving from Developer to Engineering Manager, Social and Behavioral Responsible Conduct of Research, Skywarn Spotter, and Licensed Ham Radio Operator - General Class.
