Taro Hoshizaki

Taro Hoshizaki is a veterinarian with extensive experience in both clinical and educational settings. Currently employed at Dutch Pet, Inc. as a veterinarian since October 2024, Taro previously provided relief veterinary services at VetnCare and served as an associate veterinarian in a municipal animal shelter with the City of San Jose Animal Care. Taro has also taken on significant roles such as clinical field training leader and director of medical programs at Shelterluv, focusing on mentorship and software development for animal care. With a strong foundation in shelter medicine gained from a residency at Cornell University and a graduate certificate from the University of Florida, Taro's expertise encompasses population medicine, infectious diseases, and data-driven practices in animal health management.
