Patty Dutra Bruce has an extensive work experience in various roles within the HR and safety fields. Patty began their career in 2001 as a Safety Coordinator at DD-M Crane & Rigging, where they implemented safety training and developed policies and procedures. In 2002, Patty joined The Dutra Group as a Risk & Safety Administrator, where they established a culture of safety and managed compliance efforts. Patty later moved on to become the Human Resources Manager, responsible for employee relations, compensation and benefits, and professional development. Currently, Patty holds the position of Vice President, Human Resources at The Dutra Group. In addition to their HR roles, Patty also served as the President & Director of the Dutra Museum Foundation, where they managed the museum's operations, fundraising, and scholarship programs. Patty's experience showcases their expertise in HR management, safety administration, and organizational development.
Patty Dutra Bruce, SHRM-CP, has a strong educational background in history. Patty first attended Montana State University Billings from 1999 to 2001, earning a Bachelor of Science degree with a minor in History. Patty then pursued further studies at Sonoma State University from 2002 to 2010, where they obtained a Master of Arts degree in History. In 2005, they briefly attended The University of Texas at Austin, although the degree they pursued during this time is not specified. In addition to their formal education, Patty has also obtained the SHRM-CP (Certified Professional) certification from SHRM, although the specific date of certification is not provided.
