James Mika

James Mika is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in computer support, training, and education. Currently serving as a Senior Computer Support Specialist at Duval County Public Schools since September 2014, James specializes in server support and security. Previous roles include Adjunct Faculty Instructor at Virginia College, where James taught IT-related courses, and faculty positions at Florida Career College, focusing on IT, speech, and ethics. James also brought expertise as an IT Trainer at New Horizons Orlando and worked as a consultant at ICATT Consulting, Inc. In addition, James has a strong background in customer relations from working with Aflac and has a military foundation as a retired Education and Training Staff Officer from the USAF. James holds a Master’s degree in Business Management and Supervision from Central Michigan University and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Allegheny College.
