Myrthe Wessels

Myrthe Wessels currently serves as the Technical Sales Manager for Food at Duynie, focusing on creating value from co-products by linking their technological characteristics to market potential across various sectors, including food, pet food, and bio-based applications. Previously, Myrthe held the position of Management Trainee in Innovation at Royal Cosun, where responsibilities included fostering innovation, overseeing the entire innovation process, and enhancing the innovation ecosystem in collaboration with startups and multinationals. Myrthe gained further experience as an intern at Massey University, assisting food innovation projects through project management and product development. Myrthe's early career includes a role as a catering assistant and leadership experience in organizing student introduction events at Wageningen University & Research. Educational achievements consist of a Master of Science in Food Technology and Entrepreneurship, along with a Bachelor of Science in Food Technology from Wageningen University & Research, preceded by a VWO diploma from Lyceum De Grundel.
