Wytse Haanstra is a seasoned Process Technologist and Process Engineer with extensive experience in the food and dairy industries. Currently employed at Royal Duyvis Wiener B.V. since November 2013, Wytse leads the Log5 project, which focuses on the pasteurization of nuts and seeds while maintaining their raw state, involving the scale-up from laboratory to industrial machines. Previous roles include serving as a Process Engineer at Tetra Pak Cheese and Powder Systems B.V., where responsibilities involved designing PFDs and creating specifications for dairy dryers, as well as positions at Tebodin and Stork Thermeq B.V. that concentrated on process engineering tasks, such as HAZOP studies and system specifications. Wytse holds a Master’s degree in Chemical Technology from the University of Twente and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Chemical Technology from NHL Hogeschool.
