Chris J G.

Chris J G has a diverse range of work experience in software engineering and data analysis. Chris J started their career as a Syrian War Data Analyst Intern at the Institute for the Study of War in 2018, where they collected open-source data on daily events in Syria and wrote memos on the Syrian conflict. From 2020 to 2020, they worked as a Data Consultant at Mural Advisors, where they primarily focused on CSC ServiceWorks, conducting data analysis to optimize service and collection in laundry rooms. Chris J also developed a model to detect fraud service requests and contributed to route optimization for collectors. In 2021, Chris joined Capital One as an Associate Software Engineer, specializing in backend microservices using Java. Chris J also managed a GoLang repo for data analysis services and worked on legacy C++ repos. Currently, they are employed at DV Trading LLC as a Software Engineer.

Chris J G started their education journey in 2014 when they enrolled at Lafayette College. Chris J pursued a Bachelor's degree in Math/Economics and completed their studies in 2018. During their undergraduate years, Chris took part in an exchange program at Trinity College Dublin in 2017, focusing on the Economics & Business Department.

In 2019, Chris decided to further their education by enrolling in Georgetown University. Chris J pursued a Master's degree with a focus on Applied Economics/Mathematics. Additionally, they independently pursued a minor in Computer Science. Chris concluded their studies at Georgetown in 2020.

Outside of their formal education, Chris obtained the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in February 2022.
