Ramsey Stephan

Ramsey Stephan has a diverse work experience in the finance industry. Ramsey started their career at JPMorgan Chase & Co. as an Analyst in Proprietary Trading from September 2007 to July 2008. Ramsey then joined Harvard Management Company as a Senior Associate in Fixed Income from August 2008 to December 2011. Ramsey briefly worked at Bridgewater Associates as a Trading Associate / Business Analyst from January 2012 to March 2012. After that, they joined Credit Suisse as a Quantitative Counterparty Risk Analyst from April 2013 to September 2013. From June 2015 to April 2016, they worked at Harvard Management Company as a Commodities Research Analyst, where they were responsible for generating alpha within the commodities complex and executing trading strategies for the endowment's commodities portfolio. Ramsey Stephan's most recent position is with DV Trading LLC, where they started in March 2017 as a Crude Oil Trader and later transitioned to the position of Natural Gas Trader in January 2020. DV Energy, a division of DV Trading, specializes in trading cleared financial commodity products, including crude oil, refined products, and natural gas, and Ramsey's role involves risk management and facilitating the transfer of risk in the energy market.

Ramsey Stephan completed a Bachelor of Science in Operations Research & Financial Engineering with a minor in Applied & Computational Mathematics at Princeton University from 2003 to 2007. Later, in 2014 to 2016, they pursued a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) in Operations Research at Columbia University.
