Jim Redd

Jim Redd has had a long and varied career in the engineering and web development fields. Jim began their career in 1999 as a freelancer, working as a designer, front-end web developer, and design technologist. In 2003, they joined CNET Networks Entertainment as a Technical Producer (Front-End Web Developer) and Production Manager (Engineering Manager). In 2007, they joined Yahoo! as a Senior Web Developer and Pioneers of the Inevitable (Songbird) as a Senior Front-End Web Developer. In 2010, they joined Flip Video at Cisco Systems, Inc. as a Senior Interaction Designer. In 2011, they joined Thismoment, Inc. as a Senior Front-End Web Developer and Director of Engineering. From 2014 to 2020, they worked at Front Co. as a Principal Web Developer and at Dwell as an Engineering Manager and Director of Engineering.

Jim Redd attended the Maryland Institute College of Art from 1996 to 1999 and obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree.
