Julia Calantone

Julia Calantone is an experienced educational leader currently serving as the Lower School Assistant Principal at Dwight-Englewood School since July 2020. Prior to this role, Julia was the Elementary School Math Coordinator and Math Specialist at Ethical Culture Fieldston School from June 2016 to July 2020. Julia has also held positions as the Second Grade Head Teacher and Coordinator of the Associate Teacher Program at The Mandell School, and as a First Grade Head Teacher and Second Head Grade Teacher at Hyde Leadership Charter School. Earlier in Julia's career, a role as a Substitute Teacher with the NYC Department of Education was completed. Julia holds a Master of Education in Private School Leadership from Teachers College, Columbia University, as well as a Master’s degree in Elementary Inclusive Education from the same institution, alongside a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Educational Studies from Denison University.
