Darío Silva Morán

Darío Silva Morán is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in software engineering and team leadership. Currently serving as a Manager and Team Lead in the SilverGate R&D team at IBM since June 2018, Darío has also held roles such as Senior Software Research Engineer and Chair of the Argentinian affiliate of the IBM Academy of Technology. Prior to IBM, Darío worked as a Software Engineer Consultant from February 2017 to May 2018, collaborating with local academic and industrial entities, and served in various capacities at LIFIA from 2007 to 2016, including Technology Department Manager and Project Leader. Earlier roles include Software Development Leader at Lumina Americas and Teaching Assistant at Universidad Nacional de La Plata. Darío holds a Licentiate degree in Computer Science and a Computer Analyst degree from Universidad Nacional de La Plata, complemented by a Coursera course in 2016.
