Beth Barnes has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Beth began their career as a Human Resources Graduate at BAE Systems in 1998. Beth then worked as an L&D Account Manager at Xchanging HR Services Limited, where they successfully centralized L&D services to one central hub. Beth then joined XCHANGING PROCUREMENT SERVICES LIMITED as a Program Manager, overseeing the outsourcing of Indirect Procurement services for United Biscuits Ltd.

In 2008, they moved on to the role of Lead Learning and Development Advisor at Corus, where they implemented the SAP system for delegate management and introduced KPIs and metrics reporting. Beth subsequently joined Gwalia as an HR Resourcing Lead, where they developed recruitment policies and managed successful recruitment campaigns.

Beth then briefly worked at Xchanging HR Services Limited as the Head of HR Quality, responsible for ensuring the quality and legal compliance of HR services outsourced to customers. Beth also worked at Corus as a Recruitment Specialist before joining Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water. At Welsh Water, they served as an Employee Services Manager, centralizing all HR admin services and managing the processes and team. Currently, they hold the position of Head of HR Systems and Process Improvement, responsible for implementing the SuccessFactors HR system and providing HR metrics to the board.

Beth Barnes completed their Bachelor of Arts with Honors in Business Studies at the University of the West of England from 1993 to 1997. Beth then pursued further education at Doncaster University from 1999 to 2000, where they obtained a CIPD and NVQ Level 4 in Human Resources, specializing in Human Resources Management and Personnel Administration.
