Smit Bavishi is a seasoned engineering professional and founding principal of avcon, a startup focused on sustainable infrastructure initiatives, and serves as a project executive at DY Consultants, specializing in aviation projects. Previously, Smit held significant roles at Mott MacDonald, including program director for the $15 billion redevelopment of JFK International Airport and senior project manager for various global aviation projects. Additional experiences include senior project engineer roles at TTC and Endura Energy Project Corp., as well as extensive experience in electrical engineering and design across numerous sectors, including transit and utility grid systems. Smit holds B.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology.
