Douglas Donaldson

Douglas Donaldson is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in automated driving solutions and advanced electrical systems. Currently serving as Senior Director Of Production and Acquisition Operations at Dynamic Map Platform North America since August 2022, Douglas oversees the production of high-definition maps for automated driving applications. Prior roles include Director Engineering and Chief Engineer for Steering Systems at R.H. Sheppard Co., Inc., where Douglas integrated lane keep assist technology into class 8 trucks and launched a new electro-hydraulic steering system. At General Motors, Douglas held several leadership positions, focusing on automated driving technologies and driver assistance systems, leading to the construction of a $14 million test facility.
