Matthias Scharer

SVP, Chief Customer Officer at Dynatrace

Matthias has a passion for creating unparalleled experiences for Dynatrace’s highly valuable customers, focusing on making them successful in achieving their business outcomes. He stepped into the role of Chief Customer Officer in 2022, taking responsibility for all aspects of our customer’s journey, including customer success, services, business insights, contract renewals, and technical support. Prior to this role, he served as SVP of Business Operations and launched the Dynatrace ONE customer experience service. Matthias joined Dynatrace in 2014 as a General Manager to help bring the Dynatrace platform to market. Matthias holds a master's degree in Business from the University of Linz and throughout his career has worked in various international management roles. A dedicated father of 4 girls, Matthias lives with his family in Austria and has been known to dive with whale sharks in the waters around Thailand.
