Jacob Cefalo

Jacob Cefalo is an experienced engineering professional specializing in mining and explosives management. Currently serving as the Blasting Training Manager at Dyno Nobel since August 2023, Jacob previously worked as a Senior Mining & Drill and Blast Engineer at Forte Dynamics, Inc., where responsibilities included consulting on mine planning and conducting audits. Prior experience includes significant roles at Rio Tinto, where Jacob created drill and blast forecasts and developed wall control blasting techniques, along with earlier positions at Barrick Gold Corporation focused on drilling, blasting, and planning operations. Jacob holds a Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering from the University of Utah and two Master's degrees in Explosive Engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology.
