Thomas Harms

Thomas Harms is an experienced professional in the fields of innovation management, business development, and IT security. Currently serving as an Innovation Manager at E.DIS since February 2023, Thomas previously held the position of Business Development Manager for Data Science at BettercallPaul from February 2020 to February 2023. A background in software engineering and data science has been developed through self-employment from March 2012 to January 2020, focusing on programming languages and technologies such as Python, C, SQL, and TensorFlow, among others. Thomas also provided IT support and security consulting for small businesses in Berlin from March 2016 to June 2019 and served as CEO of CyberShield IT-Security from February 2012 to March 2016, offering IT-security services. Earlier, Thomas was the CEO of Whooza Corporate Events from June 2007 to September 2011. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Informatics and a Bachelor of Science in Informatik from Freie Universität Berlin, as well as a Diplom-Ingenieur in Informatik from Universität Rostock.
