Akshay Kannan began their work experience in 2016 at Siemens, where they held the role of Customer Service Specialist in their international voice process for the US. Akshay concentrated on car rental operations, specifically Alamo and Nationals, and worked for the company called Enterprise. In 2017, Kannan joined Aegis Global as a Customer Service Specialist in their international voice process for the US, focusing on the Expedia process in the travel and tourism industry. Akshay held the position of Senior Executive. In 2018, Kannan joined KGISL as a Customer Service Specialist in their international voice process, working with 13 service providers for TV, internet, and phones in the US and Canada. In 2021, they moved on to Expresso | Etisalat Premium Channel Partner as a Senior Account Manager, and left in 2023. Currently, they are a Senior Sales Executive at e& enterprise IoT & AI, starting in April 2023.

Akshay Kannan attended the Frankfinn Airhostess Training Institute from 2019 to 2020, where they pursued a Diploma of Education in Aviation/Airway Management and Operations. Prior to that, from 2011 to 2013, they attended Mother Teresa Pu College in India, where they focused on Business/Commerce, General.
