Hannes Astok

Hannes Astok is the current Executive Director at e-Governance Academy. Prior to this, they were a member of the Estonian Parliament Riigikogu from March 2007 to March 2011. From there, they became the Development Manager at Smart City Lab from January 2013 to September 2020. Hannes was also the Project Manager at Baltic Institute of Finland from March 2011 to June 2013, where they managed the eCitizen II project. Prior to that, they were Deputy Mayor and Deputy Chairman of City Council at Tartu City Government from April 1997 to March 2007.

Hannes Astok has a Master's degree in Journalism & PR from the University of Tartu. Hannes also has a Secondary Education degree from Tallinna Reaalkool.
