Priit Vinkel

Priit Vinkel is a senior expert in smart governance at the e-Governance Academy, a position held since August 2021. Prior professional roles include researcher at Cybernetica and training consultant for the State Electoral Office of Estonia, as well as election technology analyst for the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights during various electoral events. Vinkel's extensive experience in electoral processes includes leadership positions within the Riigikogu, where responsibilities encompassed advisory and managerial roles in the State Electoral Office. Priit Vinkel holds a Ph.D. in Public Administration and a Master's degree in the same field from TalTech – Tallinn University of Technology, in addition to a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from the University of Tartu.
