Paul G. Apen

Paul joined E Ink in 2007 as Deputy General Manager of Business Development and has held several senior executive positions. In 2012, Paul established a management consultancy firm dedicated to assisting technology start-ups in formulating market strategies. Paul also worked as a business development director for thin film solar cells in the renewable energy industry.

Before joining E Ink, Paul worked in Honeywell's Electronic Polymer Division as the global business director, whose products can be applied to the semiconductor, optoelectronic display and solar cell markets, and was responsible for product development and management. Paul has also held management positions at Simula Inc., a manufacturer of security systems and optical polymers, and at Los Alamos National Laboratory.

Paul is also currently serving as a director of several companies. Paul graduated from Colgate University with a major in chemistry and a minor in economics, and holds a master's and a doctorate in chemistry from the University of Michigan.
