Amanda Tallcot

Amanda Tallcot is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in special education and support services. Currently employed as a Special Education Teacher at Auburn Enlarged City School District since January 2019, Amanda teaches and assists students in an ELA 15:1 setting. In addition, Amanda has been a Program Coordinator at Arc of Seneca Cayuga since March 2005, where responsibilities include teaching expressive art therapy, managing educational programming, and organizing fundraising events. Amanda's background also includes roles as a Direct Support Professional at E. John Gavras Center, where advocacy and goal-setting for developmentally disabled individuals are paramount, and as an Artist & Consultant with Accredited Art. With a Master's degree in Special Education and a BA in Studio Art and Design, Amanda combines educational expertise with artistic insight to enhance the lives of individuals in various capacities.
