Holly McBride

Assistant Director of Student Support Service at E.L. Haynes Public Charter School

Holly McBride, Assistant Director of Student Support Services, began her teaching career as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Kenya where she taught Deaf students in a rural primary school. Upon returning to the States, she worked in nonpublic schools for students with autism and at a school for the Deaf. In 2011, she joined E.L. Haynes as a middle school inclusion teacher and moved into her current role at the elementary school in 2015. Ms. McBride holds a Bachelor’s degree in Speech Language Pathology and Audiology from Ithaca College and a Master’s degree in Deaf Education specializing in working with students with multiple disabilities from Gallaudet University. Additionally, she completed a two-year fellowship with Leading Educators as part of the organization’s founding cohort of fellows in Washington, D.C.
