Joshua Biederman

Joshua Biederman, High School Assistant Principal, has been teaching and working in D.C. schools since 2011. This is his 2nd year at E.L. Haynes, after spending the previous 8 years at Thurgood Marshall Academy in SE, serving as a Teacher and Instructional Coach. Joshua earned a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree from the University of Maryland, in History and Secondary Education, respectively. He also has a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Columbia University, after completing the Summer Principals Academy in 2016. Currently, he is a member of the School Leader Lab’s Leadership Cohort of 2020. He is thrilled to continue working and being inspired by the amazing teachers, leaders, and students at Haynes.
