Maria Papathanassiou

Maria Papathanassiou is an accomplished academic currently serving as an Associate Professor at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens since February 2013, with previous experience as a Professor at the same institution. Maria's career began as an Astronomer at the Eugenides Foundation from November 1971 to June 1982. Maria holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Mathematics from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, alongside Bachelor's degrees in Mathematics and History and Archaeology from Ethnikon kai Kapodistriakon Panepistimion Athinon. Additionally, Maria obtained a doctorate in Byzantinistik from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin.
