Neil Salvi has a diverse work experience that spans over three decades. Their most recent role is as the Founder and Maths Advisor at E-Numeracy, a position they have held since February 2020. Prior to this, they worked as an Advisor at Gradarius from June 2018 to December 2019.
Neil also served as the Director UK at ZLemma from August 2013 to December 2015. In this role, they helped companies identify high-quality hires through the use of advanced algorithms.
From August 2006 to September 2011, Neil worked as the Chairman (India) at Imagination Technologies, where they played a key role in setting up and growing the company's Indian offshore engineering operations.
Before that, Neil was the CEO and Founder of PACE Soft Silicon Inc from April 1998 to February 2006. Their company specialized in optimizing video software for mobile devices and was acquired by Nvidia Inc. in 2006.
Neil's earlier professional experience includes a role as a Senior Manager at Accenture, where they worked from June 1987 to June 1996. Neil progressed through various positions within the company's case tool division, gaining expertise in methodologies, client server architectures, and marketing.

Neil Salvi attended the University of Oxford from 1984 to 1987, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree with honors in Mathematics. Later, in 1996, they attended INSEAD for a year, earning a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree with a focus on International Business.

This is of interest not only to employers as they struggle to recruit, upskill their workforce and get apprentices work-ready, but also to colleges, who struggle to provide the maths tutoring needed by their vocational students to get them through their exams.In addition, E-Numeracy’s scalability and affordability mean it has an important contribution to make in social inclusion, regional regeneration and national upskilling – a key focus for government, for charities and for business CSR programmes (such as the £560m, 500,000 user Multiply adult numeracy programme).We are trialling the product with leading educationalists and Princes Trust learners, and will launch in the coming months.
